Lumbar Spine

Depending on the source of the diagnosis will depend on the terms and explanations given, basic rule of thumb is that a butcher doesn't do haircuts, what I mean by that is different clinicians work within the scope of their practise. A consultant may look at a problem in terms of how he can operate, osteopaths may consider more of the bony structure, whereas physiotherapist tend to have a better general overview given the roles they perform in the multi-disciplinary system. A physiotherapist will a lower back condition in several ways; depending on the type of injury/ insult, the likelihood of one structure being primarily damaged and also the stage at which the damage is at, these factors will greatly shape the diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
